OCE Grading uses a highly accurate 10 point grading scale (1-10). Cards which exhibit high-end qualities within each particular grade may receive a half-point grade increase (eg. 9.5). To determine the final grade of a card we assign it four subgrades: surface, centering, corners and edges. These four subgrades are then used in our algorithm to calculate a cards final grade.

OCE Grading uses 3 different labels to distinguish between overall grades. Black (for cards graded 10 - with all 4 subgrades being 10), Gold (for cards graded 9.5-10) and Silver (for cards graded 9 or lower).
